1. app overview

Florapace is a mobile application that transforms your daily steps into a living, growing garden. Using your device's step data, Florapace grows unique virtual plants as you walk — the more you move, the more your garden and forest flourish. The app features daily plant companions, a personal forest, step statistics, streak tracking, weekly recaps, and customizable step goals. Florapace offers both free and premium subscription tiers.

3. payment and billing

3.1 payment processing

all subscription payments are processed through your device's app store (apple app store or google play store). payment will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.

3.2 price changes

we reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal, and you will be notified of any price changes in advance.

4. cancellation policy

• you can cancel your subscription at any time
• cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• you will continue to have access to pro features until the end of the paid period
• no refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period

5. refund policy

all sales are final. refund requests must be made directly through your device's app store:

• iOS: submit refund requests through apple's report a problem website
• android: request refunds through google play store customer service

Florapace does not control app store refund policies and cannot guarantee refund approval.

6. free trial (if applicable)

if a free trial is offered, you will be charged the full subscription price when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial expires. free trials are limited to one per user.

7. user responsibilities

• use the app responsibly and as intended for tracking physical activity
• maintain the security of your account credentials
• use the app in accordance with these terms
• not share your pro account access with others
• not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
• not artificially manipulate step counts through unauthorized means
• respect intellectual property rights of all plant artwork and content

Florapace uses your device's built-in step tracking capabilities:

• the app reads step data from apple health (iOS) or google fit (android)
• you must grant health/fitness permissions for the app to function
• daily step counts reset at midnight local time
• plant growth corresponds to your daily step progress toward your set goal
• battery optimization settings may affect background data sync accuracy

12. age requirements

Florapace is suitable for all ages. users under 18 should obtain parental consent before subscribing to Florapace Pro.

13. cloud sync and data storage

• cloud sync is a premium feature available to pro subscribers
• synced data includes garden progress, streaks, plant collection, and app preferences
• we do not guarantee permanent storage of cloud data
• you are responsible for maintaining local backups of important data
• we may delete cloud data after extended periods of account inactivity

14. termination

we reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Florapace at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or any other reason.

15. updates to terms

we may update these terms of use from time to time. changes will be effective when posted in the app or on this page. continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. limitation of liability

Florapace and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

• physical injury resulting from walking or exercise
• inaccurate step count data
• data loss or technical issues
• device battery drain
• lost plant progress or streaks due to technical failures
• any reliance on the app for medical or fitness purposes

17. disclaimer of warranties

Florapace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted or error-free operation
• specific results from using the app
• accuracy of step counts or activity metrics
• compatibility with all devices or operating systems
• permanent availability of any specific plants or features
• that step goals will improve physical fitness

18. plant content

18.1 content ownership

all plant artwork, animations, pixel art, and visual designs in Florapace are owned or licensed by Florapace and protected by copyright laws.

18.2 content availability

we reserve the right to add, remove, or modify plants and visual content at any time without notice. specific plants may become unavailable due to licensing changes or other reasons.

19. technical support

we provide technical support for app functionality, subscription management, and step tracking issues. support does not include device troubleshooting, third-party app integration, or personalized fitness advice.

20. governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the united states. any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.

21. entire agreement

these terms of use, together with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Florapace regarding use of the app.
